This is a shot of everyday life in Bolivia and how people try to live and have fun despite poverty and all the difficulties they must cope with: everything, it seems, can trigger a celebration! On that day it was an event sponsored by a television station.
Note on Photography: Dear Am3 friends, I have a question - I have been thinking a lot about the photo and whether I chose the right angle or not while shooting it. While part of me thinks it's wrong because it pictures people "sidetracking", another part of me thinks it's an interesting approach because it highlights how the people are "flowing"/dancing/moving and by no means "static" which is of course true of Bolivians. What do you think?
Thank you very much!
strange capture..well done...

i think the angled shot was a right choice as it gave the shot a dynamic feel capturing the top gives info that some kind of celebration is going on - so that's good this is just an opinion but i think if you render this in b&w the removal of the many colours can get the viewer to focus on what the people are doing hope this helps :)
